MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT II: TRAINEE CEO II

 

Applicants should have good University first degree only, from any discipline whatsoever. Applicants should be between ages 30-35 years possessing 5-10 years experience. Candidates in this category will be the second set of CEOs to emerge from this programme which has a span of 5 - 8 years. Candidates in this category will be expected to acquire higher University degrees and professional qualification within three years of enrolment. The remuneration payable to such persons shall be between N0.96m-N1.40m per annum.

 

MISSION

 

The focus of this capacity building programme is to mobilize appropriate manpower to cope with the challenges of under-utilization and under-employment of vibrant minds, by recruiting and employing such interested and qualified persons to constructively harness their potentials.

 

MODE OF TRAINING

 

The capacity building training programme shall be moderated by this company. The beneficiaries shall be exposed to both formal training and informal training at the best resource centres around us. Importantly, all the beneficiaries shall be expected to pursue higher degrees in recognized Universities locally within the first three years of enrolment. The beneficiaries shall also be exposed to lectures from over 100 outstanding CEOs in Nigeria and across the globe to challenge and fire their potentials.

 

DURATION

 

The training, mentoring and grooming shall be over a period of between 5 and 10 years. Such persons shall ultimately emerge as Chief Executive Officers (CEOs). This programme shall be in conjunction with the Business Development arm of our conglomerate and shall within this period initiate and develop 10,000 viable business ideas which the emerging CEOs will implement through strategic guidance to maturity.

 

REQUIREMENTS AND ELIGIBILITY

 

Prospective applicants for this programme should be highly entrepreneurial and resourceful with good University degree irrespective of the educational discipline. The applicants could possess backgrounds in any of the following disciplines but not limited to the mentioned disciplines of engineering, environmental sciences, medical sciences, the sciences, education, social sciences, arts, business administration, law, agriculture. This programme is open to male and female Nigerians with impeccable character and possessing only the first degree, but desirous to make positive impacts on the economy through creative ideas and must be between ages 25 and 40 years. Successful candidates shall be designated as Management Assistants while in training. There will be three categories of Management Assistants (MA) ranging from I-III. The trainee CEOs will rise through different layers of responsibilities within the business conglomerate which will culminate in the General Manager level, before being ultimately assigned to be a CEO of any business set up by the conglomerate. The emerging CEOs would be expected to take up stocks in the respective companies to be managed to provide adequate commitment and security on investment.

 

REMUNERATION

 

The remuneration payable to such Management Assistants shall be between N0.50m-N2.20m per annum depending on the years of experience and location within the country.

 

MA I: 10-15 years experience: N1.50m-N2.20m par annum

MA II: 5-10 years experience: N0.96m-N1.40m par annum

MA III: 0-5 years experience: N0.50m-N0.84m par annum

 

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

 

Applicants for the trainee CEO scheme must possess Computer literacy, excellent interpersonal and leadership skills combined with integrity and commitment to excel.

 

METHOD OF APPLICATION

 

Applicant Account creation: All the persons interested in this programme would be expected to register on this website in the first instance to create and profile an APPLICANT ACCOUNT free of charge. A registration number would be made available to the applicant, but would not be able to access the on-line form to submit his resume.

 

Applicant Account activation: The on-line form is part of the paid content resources on the site, which is made available only after the payment of the prescribed fee of N2000.00 on-line using the ATM card or at designated Banks. Thereafter, a notification of payment should be sent in to activate the account. This will give access to the on-line application form which should be properly filled on the website with the passport photograph dully attached. Thereafter, the applicant would attempt the on-line quiz of 50 general knowledge questions of 30 minutes duration on the website. 

 

METHOD OF SELECTION

 

The selection of participants for this scheme shall be based on the quiz performance, the adequacy of information on the application form and the performance in the selection tests and interviews. The selection tests and interviews shall take place in all the States of the Federation. The time and date for the selection process shall be announced on the website notice board.

 

COMMENCEMENT OF OPERATIONS

 

All the persons that qualify for appointment shall upon satisfying some requirements resume work and operations as TRAINEE CEOs. All such persons shall also be expected to create a TRAINEE ACCOUNT which does not attract any charges to commence the training programmes which shall be clearly defined and coded. Importantly, all the trainees shall receive instructions at all times from the managers superintending over their affairs during any posting within the conglomerate. The trainee CEOs would be expected to work towards the attainment of organizational goals and development by striving hard to meet all the targets set at any particular time. Importantly, character and the ability to achieve targets shall be among the major criteria used to evaluate the trainee’s performance.
