ENTREPRENEURSHIP SCHEME

 

The entrepreneurship scheme of the company will address human capacity building issues to cope with the dynamic contemporary challenges in business and the prospects of being rightly positioned for entrepreneurial advantages. The training component of the Matt Ventura Ltd developed the capacity building scheme code named entrepreneurship scheme to guarantee a continuous flow of the right quality of entrepreneurs who will initiate and profitably manage business start-up resources and deliver good returns on investment. The scheme is non-salary paying and requires persons with modest capital base. The scheme is designed to assist some persons start-up their businesses through a guided process.


The capacity building training programme shall be moderated by this company. The beneficiaries shall be exposed to informal trainings to challenge and fire their potentials. Importantly, the beneficiaries would be expected to operate some businesses which will be complimentary to the operations of our companies. The chain of companies would in return use its resources to promote and mobilize a reasonable customer base for the emerging businesses. Therefore, the company shall from time to time advertise the area of business interest in which it wishes to attract entrepreneurs for collaboration and training.


The training shall be over a period of three months for each new area of business operation. Such persons shall ultimately emerge as Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of the small or medium sized businesses and become independent when each one would have been able to employ and pay living wages to at least ten University graduates. Until such time they would be regarded as chief operating officers. The scheme does not attract salary from any of our companies; rather the beneficiaries shall be on the payroll of the respective businesses they manage. Therefore, the remuneration payable to such persons shall be as the respective businesses permit.

 

REQUIREMENTS AND ELIGIBILITY

 

Prospective applicants for this programme should be highly entrepreneurial and resourceful Nigerians with good University degree irrespective of the educational discipline. They should possess computer literacy, excellent interpersonal and leadership skills combined with integrity and commitment to excel and visible means of income and livelihood. This programme is open to male and female Nigerians with impeccable character, with ability to meet set targets and should be between ages 30 and 45 years. The emerging COOs would be expected to raise equivalent funds of 75% towards the set up of the businesses to provide adequate commitment and security on investment. The 25% equivalent funds shall be the contribution of this company in the form of ideas, logistics, costumer base and advertisement.

REGISTRATION

 

Trainee Account creation: All the persons interested in this programme would be expected to register on this website in the first instance to create and profile a TRAINEE ACCOUNT free of charge, but would not be able to access the on-line form to submit the resume.


Trainee Account activation: The on-line form is part of the paid content resources on the site, which is accessible only after the payment of the prescribed fee of N2000.00 on-line using the ATM card or at designated Banks. Thereafter, the account activation process should be implemented. This will give access to the on-line bio-data form which should be properly filled on the website with the passport photograph dully attached. Importantly, the applicant should attempt the on-line quiz of 50 general knowledge questions of 30 minutes duration on the website to update the resume. 

 

 

METHOD OF SELECTION

 

The selection of participants for this scheme shall be based on the quiz performance, the adequacy of information on the application form and the performance in the selection tests and interviews.
