The entrepreneurship scheme of the company will address human capacity building issues to cope with the dynamic contemporary challenges in business and the prospects of being rightly positioned for entrepreneurial advantages. The training component of the Matt Ventura Ltd developed the capacity building scheme code named entrepreneurship scheme to guarantee a continuous flow of the right quality of entrepreneurs who will initiate and profitably manage business start-up resources and deliver good returns on investment. The scheme is non-salary paying and requires persons with modest capital base. The scheme is designed to assist some persons start-up their businesses through a guided process.
The capacity building training programme shall be moderated by this company. The beneficiaries shall be exposed to informal trainings to challenge and fire their potentials. Importantly, the beneficiaries would be expected to operate some businesses which will be complimentary to the operations of our companies. The chain of companies would in return use its resources to promote and mobilize a reasonable customer base for the emerging businesses. Therefore, the company shall from time to time advertise the area of business interest in which it wishes to attract entrepreneurs for collaboration and training.
The training shall be over a period of three months for each new area of business operation. Such persons shall ultimately emerge as Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of the small or medium sized businesses and become independent when each one would have been able to employ and pay living wages to at least ten University graduates. Until such time they would be regarded as chief operating officers. The scheme does not attract salary from any of our companies; rather the beneficiaries shall be on the payroll of the respective businesses they manage. Therefore, the remuneration payable to such persons shall be as the respective businesses permit. |
